Good to know

  • Review all four dates before saving so the series does not overlap another lesson.
  • Changing one lesson leaves the rest of the series unchanged; choose the series option only when the same time change should apply to the other lessons.
  • A payment status applies to the selected lesson. Update each lesson separately when a student pays for more than one.
How to use it

When a student needs the same lesson each week, create the whole series at once. You can later move one lesson or apply a time change to the rest of the series, and keep the payment status up to date in the diary.

  1. Open Create Lesson

Open Diary and tap an empty time slot, or use the add button, to start a new lesson.

  2. Choose the student and first lesson

Select the student, then set the first lesson's date, start time, duration and lesson details.

  3. Set the repeat pattern

Turn on repeat, choose Weekly, and set 3 repeats to create four lessons in total (the first lesson plus three repeats). Check the dates and times before saving.

  4. Create the series

Save the lesson. Review the generated SMS message to the student and confirm it when you are ready to send it.

  5. Move a lesson in the diary

Drag one lesson to a new time. When asked, choose whether to change only that lesson or apply the new time to the other lessons in the series too.

  6. Review the update message

Check the SMS preview for the changed lesson or series before confirming the update.

  7. Mark a lesson as paid

Open a lesson from the diary, change its payment status to Paid, and save. The diary entry displays the paid status.
